Brad's Birthday

We celebrated Brad's birthday on Saturday by having a shrimp boil followed by chocolate chip poundcake. Yummy!!!

Braden's Big Boy Bed!!!!

Braden helped Daddy and Grandpa put his big boy bed together today. He loves his new tractor sheets and the tractor quilt that Grandma made! After moving all his blankets and stuffed animal into his new bed from the crib he went right down for his nap. Yeah Braden!!

Fantastic Friday!

Braden was so excited to wear his Superman pjs to school today for pajama day. He loves the cape on the back!
Kate loves to practice her gymnastics ALL the time!

Big Boy!!

Braden has been potty trained for about two months, but today was the first day he took himself to the bathroom! I was upstairs putting away laundry when he was up to some serious business downstairs. :-) We're so proud of him!

Sleepy Braden

I couldn't resist taking this picture at naptime yesterday. Braden loves his lamb "blank" that he is cuddling with. He always holds one or both ears (I guess he doesn't even let go once he falls asleep!).

Trip to Nashville!

This past weekend Kate and I headed to Nashville to spend some time with family and friends. Kate had so much fun with her cousins and I even got a dinner out with two of my good friends!

The Nemuras Family is Back!

We are so excited that our good friends have moved back from Chicago!!! Today Katie Grace came over to play for awhile. The girls had a blast together! Here they are enjoying a popsicle on the deck.

Suessical the Musical

Last night Kate and I went to Suessical with our friends Sage and Jenifer. We had a fun girls night out!

Kindergarten Roundup!

Brad and I took Kate to Kindergarten Roundup yesterday. She has been very excited about her new school, but was a little nervous yesterday. She seemed to enjoy looking around once we got there and definitely enjoyed playing on the playground before we left. We can't believe that this time has come!!

Kate's class after their Easter Egg Hunt (they decided to have their egg hunt after Easter!).

When I was at the school for Kate's egg hunt I caught Braden's class on their way back in from the playground. It was so sweet to see all those boys holding hands walking in. Please pray for the little boy that Ms. George is holding (Mitchell) and his family. When I picked Braden up from school that day I found out that his father had passed away the previous night following heart surgery. Mitchell's six year old sister goes to the school I used to teach at and his mom has just recently joined my mom's group. It would be great to have as many people as possible praying for them during this difficult time.

Super Saturday

On Saturday morning we colored our Easter Eggs and then in the afternoon headed off to an egg hunt. We had fun petting horses, hunting eggs, and going down the big slide. On the way home we also got to stop with Nonny & PopPop to sit on a tractor. What a fun day!!!

Peter Pan

Last Thursday my mom and I took Kate and Braden to see Peter Pan at the Cumberland County Playhouse. It was a great show!

Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt

On Monday we had an Easter Egg Hunt with friends from our playgroup. The weather was perfect! We had a blast hunting eggs, playing with our friends, and eating a picnic lunch.

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

First Soccer Game of the Season!

Kate's soccer team, The Pink Tigers, had their first game yesterday. They got to play about ten minutes before they were rained out. Kate was SO excited and all the girls did a fantastic job. Go Pink Tigers!!!

Braden's Easter Party

"It's a lovely day!"

Those were Kate's words when we stepped outside today after lunch to play in the backyard. She was right! It was sunny, 60ish degrees, with a light breeze. We all had a great time!

Goodbye Mrs. Star!

One of Kate's teachers is moving and Monday was her last day. She has been wonderful to Kate and we will miss her!!

Buddies

Braden has been hanging out with Bax while recuperating from the flu. Note: The dog is not allowed on the couch.....mommy was not home and daddy was in charge! They do look cute together though.

The Circus!

We went to the Ringling Brothers circus last night. Kate & Braden loved the show!

Time for a big boy room!

It's time for Braden's big boy room which means that the nursery is going to be no longer. Since both Kate and Braden used the same nursery I had to take some pictures of them in the room before the demolition begins! I can't believe our nursery days are over!!

Party Day!

We went to two birthday parties on Saturday at Jumpity Jump. Kate and Braden LOVED it! I think they could have jumped on in to Sunday. :-)
