Happy Birthday Brad!

Brad celebrated his 39th birthday on the 19th! Happy Birthday....we love you!!!

The baby birds are back!

We have a new Robin's nest this year in the exact same spot as two years ago on the floor (yes, floor) of our deck. Makes things interesting with a dog and a cat who like to go out! It's really neat to watch how quickly the babies hatched and are growing. We watch the mama bird fly in with a mouthful of worms and see her feed the babies. Enjoy the pictures of our spring visitors!

Spring Break Fun

We had lots of fun during Spring Break last week so I thought I'd share a few pictures. On Monday we went to see the Velveteen Rabbit with Nonny. On Tuesday, we went bowling with our playgroup and then to Chick-fil-A for lunch. On Wednesday we went to the Gatlingburg Aquarium. On Thursday we went to the Cove and played on the playground. On Friday, Brad was off work so he hung out with Braden while Kate and I met some friends who were in town visiting. We went to Tatarus, lunch and then the kids went with the grandmothers to see Hotel for Dogs. Whew...what a fun and tiring week!

Happy Birthday to me!

I had a great birthday on Saturday! Mom and I took Kate to lunch and out for a little shopping in the afternoon. For dinner, we met up with Mom and Dad at Lakeside Tavern. After dinner Kate and Braden went to spend the night with Nonny and PopPop so Brad and I could go bowling with some friends. I was the first one up and threw a strike!!! It was a great day with family and friends!

Kate lost her 4th tooth!

Well....Kate and Braden had a little run in tonight and his head managed to knock out her 4th tooth. It was loose, but not quite ready to come out on his own. His head also busted her upper lip so it's a little hard to see the big gap she has. We will have to take some more pictures when the swelling goes down! :-) After calming down Kate was excited and got everything ready for the tooth fairy. We'll see what she brings......

Braden's 1st UT Basketball Game

Brad and I took Braden to his first UT basketball game today. He had a great time and said his favorite part was seeing "Smokey dog". He didn't mind all the treats he got either. :-)It was a special Valentine date with my two boys!

SNOW DAY again!!

Well....Knoxville actually got a decent snow today! I think we were all surprised since we were outside playing in 60 degree weather yesterday. Kate got out of school a little early. We went out for a few minutes to catch snowflakes on our tongue and to throw a few snowballs. We also went next door to visit Mack and his Big Orange Snowman. We're planning on heading back out when Brad gets home so there will be more pictures to follow later!

Snow Day!!!

We actually got enough snow to cancel school today. It's the best snow we've had since Braden's been born. I bundled K & B up and we headed outside this morning. Braden has another sinus infection so we couldn't be out long, but we threw a few snowballs and Kate made a snow angel.
