Friday Firsts!

Daddy took Kate and Braden fishing on Friday night at Nonny and PopPop's new house. Braden caught his first fish ever and they both reeled in lots of fish. After fishing Daddy and Kate set up the tent in the backyard and Kate had her first camp-out with Daddy. She made it all night and didn't come out until 8:00 the next morning! She was ready to do it again Saturday night, but we told her she had to wait awhile. I don't think Daddy slept as well as she did. :-)

Playgroup at the Pool

We had so much fun swimming with our friends on Monday!!

The Power Lab!

Vacation Bible School was a blast last week! Kate and Braden had so much fun in their classes and I really enjoyed working with the 5th grade girls. We learned that Jesus gives us the power to always be thankful, the power to help others, the power to be brave, the power to live forever, and the power to tell others about God!

Charlotte Eagles Soccer Camp

Kate finished a fun week of soccer camp today. We were so proud of the great job she did. She was a bit hesitant the first day or two to get out there, but once she got going she loved it. She ended the week by scoring 4 goals in her game today! The bible verse for the week at camp was Phillipians 3:14 "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Fun Times with Braden

Today while Kate was at soccer camp I took Braden to Tatarus to play. He loved the rings and the foam pits!!

Seabrook Island 2008

We headed back to Seabrook Island last week. Kate and Braden had a blast! They got to spend a whole week with their cousins. They all enjoyed the pool for hours every day and all the kids enjoyed some beach time as well. We can't wait to return next summer! We LOVE Seabrook Island!!

Happy Memorial Day!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. We spent a lot of time at the pool and just getting things done around the house. Kate and Braden were both very excited to be back into the water!!

Libby Lu!

Kate had her first Libby Lu experience on Friday. She loved it!!! She actually kept her pink hair in for hours!

Last Day of School!

Kate and Braden both had their last day of school on Friday. Braden's class had a picnic with the parents and Kate's class had a pizza party!

Soccer Ice Cream Party

The Pink Tigers celebrated their soccer season at Baskin Robins tonight. The girls all had a great time!

Happy Mother's Day!

Our 10th Anniversary!

Brad and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with a trip to the Opryland Hotel. We had a great time walking around, eating lots of yummy food, shopping, talking a boat ride and just being together (without our little interupters :-). Thanks Nonny & PopPop for taking care of Kate and Braden for us!

Haircuts!!!

Kate and Braden both got haircuts today. Kate has been wanting to cut hers shorter for awhile and I was tired of fighting all the tangles so she had several inches cut off! After a deep breath I loved it. She is thrilled!! Braden was not as excited about his turn, but we managed to trim him up a little bit against his VERY strong will. Braden was all dazzled up waiting for Kate and Daddy to come home. Don't you love the ruby red ring and bracelets? They really compliment the worker goggles!
I guess it's time to get Braden some shades of his own so he doesn't have to borrow Kate's pink ones anymore!

Brad's Birthday

We celebrated Brad's birthday on Saturday by having a shrimp boil followed by chocolate chip poundcake. Yummy!!!

Braden's Big Boy Bed!!!!

Braden helped Daddy and Grandpa put his big boy bed together today. He loves his new tractor sheets and the tractor quilt that Grandma made! After moving all his blankets and stuffed animal into his new bed from the crib he went right down for his nap. Yeah Braden!!

Fantastic Friday!

Braden was so excited to wear his Superman pjs to school today for pajama day. He loves the cape on the back!
Kate loves to practice her gymnastics ALL the time!

Big Boy!!

Braden has been potty trained for about two months, but today was the first day he took himself to the bathroom! I was upstairs putting away laundry when he was up to some serious business downstairs. :-) We're so proud of him!
