Oak Ridge Playhouse

Kate and I went to the Oak Ridge Playhouse today with our friends Wendy and Audrey to see Cinderella. We all had a great time!

Visit with Santa

We went to the Christmas Open House at Franklin Square today and got to visit with Santa. Kate was excited to sit in his lap this year. Braden was NOT excited!

Nonny & PopPop's Lot

After visiting with Santa today we went to see Nonny & PopPop's lot. They just finishing clearing it. There was a huge bulldozer still there. Kate and Braden had a big time checking it out and playing with all the sticks and leaves!

Getting ready for Christmas!

We decorated our Christmas tree this past week. Both kids were VERY excited to help and are constantly rearranging the ornaments. :-)

Thanksgiving!

We had a nice Thanksgiving spent with family and friends. We had a big dinner Wednesday night at Nonny & PopPop's and then leftovers for lunch on Thursday so PopPop and Daddy could go hunting. Thursday night we had another big dinner with the Higleys and Kershaws. Lots of turkey!!

Fantasy of Trees

Mom and I took the kids to the Fantasy of Trees last Wednesday. Kate and Braden enjoyed the crafts and rides and we all loved the pretty trees and lights.

Wise Worm

Kate had a Thanksgiving feast at school today. She made a Pilgrim hat and Indian headband. The Indian name she picked for herself is "Wise Worm". Her adorable turkey shirt was made by my friend Julie. You can click on her website link (Julianne Originals) to see all of her great stuff!

Once again this year we headed to Gatlinburg for a couples weekend. We had a great time playing games, shopping, eating, and exploring. It was a beautiful fall weekend in the mountains!

Pumpkin Patch

Braden and I went with some of our friends from my PEP Moms group to the Pumpkin Patch today. We went on a hayride and got to go out to hand pick our own pumpkin. Braden loved riding behind the big tractor!!

Braden's Birthday Party

We had Braden's birthday party at the Cove on Friday. He had a great time with all of his friends. Everyone was so cute in their hard hats and Braden loved all the neat new toys he got! Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate!!

Braden's B'day party at school

Braden celebrated his birthday last Friday at school. He ate lots of munchkins (look at that doughnut mouth)!! We can't believe he's turning two on Sunday.

High School Musical on Ice

Kate went to High School Musical on Ice when Grandma and Grandpa were in town. It was a great show!

Soccer Scrimmage

Kate's soccer team, the Pink Panthers, had their first game (a scrimmage) today. Kate was very excited initially, but was a bit overwhelmed once the game started. Hopefully we will have some action shots after next week's game!
