Labor Day Weekend

Braden Update

Braden's surgery went well this morning. He has been pretty groggy since we've been home, but seems to be getting some energy back now. He's been a trooper!

Please pray for Braden on Thursday morning. He is having his adenoids out and tubes put in his ears. We are hoping that this will put an end to the constant sinus infections he has been having.

Soccer Weekend!

Kate had her first soccer practice today. She is so excited that Brad is going to be one of her coaches. She practiced dribbling and scored two goals!
The Aces

Brad & I played in a soccer tournament this weekend with our outdoor team. After winning games on Friday night and Saturday our team made it to the championship game today. We lost the game today, but coming in second isn't too bad!

Kate and Braden both had special days at school today. Kate's class had cowgirl/cowboy day and Braden's class had water day!

First Day of School!

Kate had her first day of school on Monday. We think she's going to have a great year with Ms. Reynolds and Ms. Star!

Braden's first day of school was today. He had so much fun with Ms. Zalk and Ms. George!

High School Musical 2

Kate was so excited to stay up late on Friday night for the premiere of High School Musical 2!

Fun at Dollywood

Brad's company picnic was on Saturday at Dollywood. Braden stayed home with Nonny

since it was so hot. Kate had lots of fun riding all the rides with us. It was a great day!

Everyone had a big time at Dixie Stampede last night. Today has been another fun day!! First we went to the library for a visit from the Zoomobile. Next was lunch at the Pizza Kitchen. After lunch the kids all went swimming since we finally had some sunshine. Tonight Brad and I took Emily, Will & Kate to a Smokies game. Whew...we are worn out!

Kate & Braden had a fun day with their cousins Emily & Will today. After going to Jumpity Jump we had lunch at Gridiron Burgers together. The big kids get to go to Dixie Stampede tonight with Nonny & PopPop! More pictures to follow soon....

Our friends Lisa, Jack, and Julia were in town this week from Alabama. On Thursday we took all the kids to the zoo. Everyone had a great time!

We went to Morristown today to see a production of High School Musical. Kate had a blast and was so excited to see Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and Ryan!

Visit with Friends

Our good friends Andrea, Steve, Ryan & Drew were in town from Nashville today. The kids had fun playing and we were all so excited to finally meet baby Drew!

Mayfield Dairy

My mom's group went to Mayfield Dairy in Athens today. We got to tour the factory, had a picnic lunch and then got some ice cream for dessert. Kate was a little worn out after being at the beach last week, but we still had fun!
