Mayfield Dairy

My mom's group went to Mayfield Dairy in Athens today. We got to tour the factory, had a picnic lunch and then got some ice cream for dessert. Kate was a little worn out after being at the beach last week, but we still had fun!

No one was very excited with the hairnets we had to wear, but Kate & Ashley sure look cute in them.

Seabrook Island, South Carolina

We had a great week at the beach!! The weather was beautiful and all the kids had a blast. Kate's favorite activity was swimming. She spent most of the day (every day) in the pool. She taught herself how to flip underwater and even mastered "the triple" (three flips underwater without coming up for a breathe) She also liked crashing waves in the ocean and building a sand castle with her daddy and cousins. Braden loved swimming, playing in the surf and bird watching. Everytime he spotted a bird he yelled "bee, bee" and loved to throw food for them to come eat. Most of all we loved spending time with our family. We can't wait to go back next year!!

My friend Kim came through town today on her way to Nashville. We were able to meet up for lunch. It was so good to see her and have time to catch up with one another!

Happy 60th Birthday Nonny!!

Today was Nonny's 60th birthday. We had a special dinner with family and friends at Lakeside Tavern to celebrate. Everyone had a great time!

Tiffany, Katie Grace, and Abbie Ruth were in town this weekend. We were so excited to go out to lunch with them after church today. Our friends Jenifer and Sage were able to go as well. The girls had lots of fun!!

We had a great time with our friends today at the zoo. We saw lots of animals and both Kate and Braden enjoyed the Kid's cove.

Kate's last day of pre-school was today. She had a fantastic year! We are so proud of her.

Grandpa came in town for a visit yesterday so he and Brad took Kate fishing. She loved it once again. She reeled in 10 fish this time!

Kate started swim lessons last week and is loving it! Her only complaint is that the lesson doesn't last long enough. We can't wait for our neighborhood pool to open!!
